Darkwyrm hits the nail on the head when he says that “Many people don’t even know — or care — what an operating system is.”  His point is that most users only see the interface layer of the machine they are working on and they want it to be easy to use and just work.  With this in mind, Darkwyrm has put down a number of changes for Tracker that he would like to see implemented.  As far as we can tell Darkwyrm is proposing these changes for R2 so you will find the document on the Glass Elevator portion of the Haiku websiteRead up, soak it in, then post a comment to let him know what you think.

As long as it’s not forced, meaning we can use it the old Be way. I’m using Ubuntu instead of Zeta because Zeta is BeOS without sliding tabs, so I may as well use something more updated without sliding tabs. And yes, I know Dano lacked sliding tabs too, it was stupid then and is stupid in Zeta.
