BeGirl on BeFaqs beat us to this one, but it’s still worth mentioning - OneShare has told David Huff that if they recieved more than 10 requests for Be stock, they’d consider it. If you want to own only “one share” certificate, to say, frame and hang next to your BeOS computer, email them and let them know. I think I’m going to… it would be something cool to put right next to all the Be books and software boxes I have sitting around. :P

    $39 OneFee?

Great idea! kinda funny though, with that $39 one fee, it costs 78% more to get at stock certificate and one share then it does for just one share!

Hehe, I guess you could say the stock certificates are “worth less than the paper they’re printed on.”
Anyway, I’ve emailed the company to show my interest.

Be Inc. will be added to our product line. We have had tremendous requests
for this company. Since this will be a new stock, it should be available in
    approximately 6 weeks. Regards,
    Charles Wright

Hope the share certificate is of better quality than their operating system.

    oneshare for $39?

i’d suggest that us beos users would use that $39 for registering / purchasing beos software.
Registering the opera browser might show opera soft that it’s worth to release opera 5.something for beos too.
or register your copy of soundplay.Or Elastomania. Or get Jabber. These high quality apps really need to be supported.

i’d leave the shares for those of us who have already registered or bought a lot of software.

we’ve only got a few devs left so lets put our money where our dev’s are! =)

put the money where the devs are.. but then we shouldn’t register opera , cuz they will be devoping only when there will be a new beos version out (*according to a technical support staff member*)

Looks like they’re charging one dollar for every point of that guy’s IQ. Amazing.

I would be shocked if Be Inc. stocks are still listed on the stock exchange in 6 weeks…

One quick question, if someone buys one share, he/she gets all of the shareholder information from Be Inc and gets to participate in confrence calls (when they are not canceled, grrrr….), right?
