Just noticed that Open-BFS has been updated to Beta2. The new version includes a tool called bfsinfo to track down information that will help them debug. According to the README, It also includes debugging support built in. This means that it is a bit slower due to logging activities, and that it weighs in around 1.2mb compared to the original BFS’s 238kb. BUT.. when debugging is off, it hits around 130kb, which means that in the end it’s smaller, faster, and has more features than the original (i.e. search on non-indexed attributes). Not a bad deal all in all. So test it out, and send your feedback to the OpenBFS team!
