Slashdot and BeNews are both reporting on the latest screenshots by the team at BlueOS. They have been working hard on replicating the beos servers / api on top of the Linux kernel. While many complain that this isn’t a good idea, I think of it as nearly the same thing as openbeos, in that its a replication of the kits / api’s on top of a foreign kernel. The only advantage to OpenBeOS is that they will really be an independant os, while BlueOS will sorta be a linux window server. Still… if they can be successful with this, more power to em. Keep up the good work guys.
