Kenny Carruthers, author of the popular email client Postmaster, has announced that Postmaster 1.x will be open sourced, and 2.0 is officially on hold. He also announced that he is considering a Mac OS X native version of Postmaster as a future project. This is unfortunate, as Postmaster 2.0 was set to be impressive, and may never see the light of day now. However, Kenny is doing us all a big favor by releasing it to the community in source form, so we can keep it updated on our own. I would love to see an enterprising developer pick this project up and run with it.

In other open source news, Mozilla for BeOS has been released as version 0.9.2. This shows that the bezilla team has been working hard, and it is paying off. Go offer them your support. Good job guys! :)
